In Ghana, for example, the small-scale gold mining sector is responsible for 40% of the gold production output and supports 6 million direct and indirect livelihoods. The sector generates USD 2 Bn of export revenue annually.

Kwadjo Bonsafo Barwuah is Founder and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of MineTrace Ltd. He is an entrepreneurial-spirited, pioneering Information Technology Consultant and a highly motivated as well as enthusiastic individual with a wide range of technical expertise.
He has over fifteen years cross industry experience ranging from systems implementation, client consultation and technical sales presentations to big corporates. He has been pivotal in closing several multi-million-pound technology deals in Europe.
Kwadjo graduated from Brunel University in the UK with an honours degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering(EEng).
